Yesterday, I decided I wanted to be a princess.

I showered specially, so that I would even smell lovely.

Let my hair be loose, even though it was being difficult.

And put on my favorite jewelry.

However, when I got to my closet I realized that I was seriously lacking

a gown and a tiara. How could I be a princess without a pretty outfit?

I wore a yellow and purple shirt (which was different for me because I usually wear dark colors)

and a pretty white scarf that smelled comfortingly like my grandfather's handkerchiefs.

With my favorite pair of jeans and my pretty boots, I was a princess.

At least in my imagination.

Someday, I want to be a princess everyday.

Even if it is just in my head.
