Let no one who loves be called unhappy. Even love unreturned has its rainbow
~James Matthew Barrie~

But where is my rainbow then, Uncle Jim? Where is my Peter Pan?

Somewhere there must one
Made for this soul, to move it
~William Johnson Cory~

Who will move me when it feels like my world is ending? Who will be there to hold my hand?
I am a storyteller. What will happen when I have no one to tell my stories too?

And she finally stopped playing their song, when she realized she was dancing alone
~Unknown~

When I see him, will I be able to forget how I loved him?
How he hurt me?
And how he never loved me,
no matter how hard I tried to be what he wanted?

I've been waiting for the One
who I thought would take his place
but what if he is the One
and all hope of love
is lost?

"Remember me when the Stars fade, my darling Storyteller, because I will be with you until that day comes."

  1. That Barrie quote is one of my all-time favourites, but it's always hard to believe it's true, isn't it? Your beautiful comment and the way you, too, seem to give my feelings this very clear and poetic form in your posts reminded me of a Joan Didion quote I love: "Keepers of private notebooks are a different breed altogether, lonely and resistant rearrangers of things, anxious malcontents, children afflicted apparently at birth with some presentiment of loss."
And I loved your former post - I've always wished with all my might to live the various lives I've imagined. Whenever I listen to music, I daydream a scene to fit the song, and yesterday I came up with a particularly good one, a brilliant boat party. My brother interrupted my reverie with a snide, "Why are you grinnning like an idiot to yourself with your eyes closed?" *Sigh!*
Love, sparkles and crumbs to you always xxx
